Challenging

By challenging each and every child to achieve their full potential, new outcomes can be possible. Little Einstein's will be discovered as well as children who might have learning diabilities that can be helped.

Projections

Projection screens can be extremely useful in the classroom. Using these involve the students in the lesson and make the subject larger than life. It gives a visual aspect that increases curiousity.

Field Trips

Field trips, games, and other hands on activities engage the child's mind and excite them about the information. It can also be a new outlook on the information which can benefit the children when trying to learn.

Natural Curiousity

By using a child's natural curiousity, this allows the child to futher their learning willingly rather than forcefully. It also encourages children to not be afraid to ask questions and that they are never should be ashamed if they don't know all the answers.

Using Visual Technology

By using dvd's and powerpoint presentations, children are able to view slides, pictures, and videos of why the information is interesting and how it can be useful to learn. It can also grasp the children's interest due to the loud sounds and colorful pictures.

Encouraging

With the proper encouragement, a child can grow in the environment and have increased self esteem. This results in self motivation and allows the child to be proud of his or her self.

Six Tools that I Intend to Use

There are six tools/ ideas that I intend to use once I become a teacher.

1) Encouraging children no matter what the situation
2) Allowing children to use their natural curiousity to spark interest
3) Using dvd's and powerpoints to make learning more visual
4) Participating in field trips and hands on activities to engage the children's minds
5) Using projection screens to include the entire class in my lesson
6) Taking each child's learning ability and challenging them to create further achievement
